deageneric DEA: US-Based Jihadis Work with Mexican Drug Runners to Finance Operations

H/t AllahP. US-based Islamic terrorists are partnering with Mexican drug runners to finance terror networks in the Mid-East, according to a report by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Islamic extremists embedded in the United States — posing as Hispanic nationals — are partnering with violent Mexican drug gangs to finance terror networks in the Middle East, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration report…

The 2005 report outlines an ongoing scheme in which multiple Middle Eastern drug-trafficking and terrorist cells operating in the U.S. fund terror networks overseas, aided by established Mexican cartels with highly sophisticated trafficking routes…

“It is very likely that any future ‘September 11th’ type of terrorist event in the United States may be facilitated, wittingly or unwittingly, by drug traffickers operating on both sides of the United States-Mexico border,” the DEA report says…

“Hearings I held in Laredo [Texas] last year and this DEA report show that our southern border is a terrorist risk,” [Rep. Ed] Royce said. “Law enforcement has warned that people from Arab countries have crossed the border and adopted Hispanic surnames. The drug cartels have highly sophisticated smuggling and money-laundering networks, which terrorists could access.”…

Lending credence to [security consultant Peter] Brown’s concern, an El Paso, Texas, law-enforcement report documents the influx of “approximately 20 Arab persons a week utilizing the Travis County Court in Austin to change their names and driver’s licenses from Arabic to Hispanic surnames.”

But, please don’t build that fence. You know, the people crossing our border are just looking for a better life…well, except for the drug runners, criminals, soon-to-be criminals, and Islamic terrorists.

UPDATE: Meanwhile, we’ve got this crap in California:

Responding to a refusal by city leaders to declare the city a sanctuary for illegal immigrants, more than a dozen people gathered outside City Hall on Monday night to denounce recent immigration raids, accusing federal officials of “terrorizing” immigrant communities and breaking up families.

A coalition of local immigrant rights groups, including the Orange County Alliance for Immigrants Rights and the Front Against the Raids, announced a planned program to create a hot line that will notify people where and when immigration raids will take place. The program would also coordinate a support system for the families of deportee targets.

“We want to have a more organized effort to counter these attacks,” said Jaime Conteras, a 20-year-old Filipino immigrant who now lives in Santa Ana. “We cannot let people trample on our rights.”

Rights? They illegal aliens - not citizens. They don’t have rights here. This pro-illegal groups is now creating a hotline to undermine the efforts of law enforcement to enforce the laws these illegals trampled on. By the way, who is the group protesting the arrest of? A convicted child molester and a man wanted for murder. H/t Michelle.
