C/o Michelle Malkin. Hillary’s unveiled her plan for the housing sector and, of course, it’s the mortgage lender’s fault. Just like everything else with the Clintons, it’s the private sector’s fault, and the only solution is socialism.

In her address to about 250 people in a Derry elementary school gymnasium, Clinton criticized unscrupulous mortgage brokers who push customers into borrowing more to pad their commission or are dishonest about the true cost of the loan. To help curb the number of foreclosures, Clinton proposed setting up a $1 billion fund to assist homeowners in making arrangements with lending companies to stay in their home.

She also discussed the lack of affordable housing, an issue that is particularly a problem in New England. To promote more affordable housing construction, Clinton proposed another $1 billion fund which would be distributed to state, county and local affordable housing programs.

You know, there is a serious lack of affordable housing in the Hamptons. Beverly Hills, too. I’m sure the socialites living there won’t mind discount apartments being built next door to their multi-million dollar homes. I mean, they don’t mind the rest of us dealing with Clinton’s socialist plans.

By the way, where is she getting all of this money to pay for all of her government-subsidized plans? Not fighting terrorism? Raising taxes? Oh, the usual sources Democrats find to suck money from. God forbid it comes from the pork Congress spends on pet projects.

Hillary’s got a form at her site, which you can fill out if you’re “at risk” of your American dream not being fulfilled. Yes, everyone’s apparently now entitled to the American dream, courtesy of the American taxpayer.

People make mistakes, don’t fully consider what they’re taking on, and then want the government to bail them out. And Hillary’s more than happy to do so – with your money.
