Political correctnesspalooza! Get this: Some television show was actually going to have a terror attack, in which Islamic terrorists set off bombs in Britain, causing casualties. The nerve of those producers! But, never fear. That bomb will still go off, folks. But, by golly, will set it off?
Now the bomb will be set off by animal rights campaigners instead.
A BBC spokesman said: “With any storyline there are lots of ideas that get put forward but don’t make the series.”
Damn animal rights activists, with their damn constant suicide bombings. Instead of offending Muslims, they’ll just accuse animal rights activists of being civilian-bombing terrorists. The commenters at This Is London, don’t quite understand this reasoning, either:
Was the BBC so careful during the years of IRA bombings? This is a worrying and dangerous decision- it is a fact that currently the threat faced in this country from terrorists happens to be from ISLAMIC terrorists – that is not stereotyping anymore than saying that 20 years ago the terrorist threat came from Irish terrorists!

Shh! Wendy, don’t point out reality. It might offend someone.
It’s F-i-c-t-i-o-n, a genre that allows writers to express thoughts, ideas and opinions, a cornerstone of a free society. I am sure that if a story involving coalition troops abusing absuing Iraqi prosoners was submitted it would be trailed for weeks beforehand and be the ‘one to watch’.
- Paul, London
Of course, Paul. But, see, the coalition soldiers aren’t predominately Muslim. Accusing our troops of torturing Iraqis? That’s fine. Accusing Islamic extremists of doing something they’ve done countless times? Not fit for airing.
This proves that terrorism works. The BBC is terrified of Muslims.

Welcome to a country called Islam – coming in the next 25 years!

Pat, you’re about 25 years off. Welcome to Londonistan.
