Charges Against 13-year-olds Dismissed

Finally. The judge in the trial of Cory Mashburn and Ryan Cornelison, 13-year-old charged with multiple felonies for swatting the behinds of classmates, has dismissed all charges against them. The four girls who initially filed the complaint, asked Yamhill County Judge John Collins to do so, today. The boys apologized, will pay each girl $250, and will attend “boundaries education” classes.

I agree with Michelle:

Seems to me that the individuals who need “boundaries education” are the officials who allowed this case to progress as far as it did.

Because they allegedly smacked the behinds of four girls, they were being charged with felonies, would’ve serve jail time, and would’ve apparently been sex offenders – at 13. Yet, we have charges being dismissed against an illegal alien rapist, because a translator couldn’t be found that speaks his language of choice.

Last week, prosecutors in the Mashburn/Cornelison trial, were accused of withholding testimony of one of the girls. Furthermore, one of the young accusers herself, accused the prosecutors of pressuring her.
