That MSM With Its Objective Fact Checking; Changed

Lifted from AllahPundit, who lifted it from Ace. Now see, this is why we bloggers need to leave the fact-checking and honest reporting to the real journalists:

Besides the obvious bias, it’s just plain false. President Bush didn’t say Iraq is like Vietnam. He said it will be, if we pull-out now. Even The New York Times got its facts straight there. Keep up that objective, factual reporting, ABC. And if the inaccuracy wasn’t enough, they brought in the crash tragedy (caused by a mechanical error), just to get their agenda point across.

As of this posting, the headline is still up at ABCNews.com. Ace has it screencapped, just in case ABC pulls a Reuters.

Update: And, as if on cue, ABC News has changed the headline. “New Bush Talking Point: Iraq Like Vietnam”, the new one reads. Still inaccurate, but the part about the soldiers dying has been removed. As Ace says, “Screencaps are forever.”.
