Bubba Clinton Shocked That Hsu Was Corrupt

So what if the Clintons knew very little about one of their top, if not their top, donor, and how he actually made all of that money? That hasn’t stopped them before. Why, Bubba is utterly shocked at Hsu being a fugitive for 15 years.

Former President Bill Clinton said he was “shocked” by revelations that a top fundraiser for his wife is a fugitive from justice and claimed he didn’t even know what “HillRaiser” Norman Hsu did for a living.

“You could have knocked me over with a straw, especially when I heard the L.A. people had been allegedly looking for him for 15 years when he was in plain view,” he told Newsday while touring a county fair in rural New Hampshire Sunday.

“I never knew how he made a living or anything, but I was shocked,” said Clinton of Hsu, who has made millions as an investor in textile and other businesses.

“the L.A. people”? You mean like the judge who issued the bench warrant 15 years ago, and the Attorney Generals office who notified the media that Hsu is a fugitive? How do you not know what one of your top donors even does for a living? Wouldn’t that be a good thing, especially for the Clintons, to know? If someone starts hosting funraisers for you, and donating bundles of money, and you’ve never heard of them, wouldn’t it even come up in a conversation what they did? Even light chit-chat? Or do you just take the money, asking no questions, and then just claim to be shocked later?

The LA Times seems to believe they should’ve known. Apparently there’s a database commonly used to search the background on major donors. Considering Hsu was a top donor, and no one knew what he does, wouldn’t it be a good idea to use that database?

Exit question: Say Hillary’s elected President. What position will Hsu be on the pardon list?
