Breaking: New Bin Laden Tape On Its Way

by Stephan Tawney on September 10, 2007

Yes, another one. This one’s apparently a testimony of one of the 9/11 hijackers, to be released in conjunction with the anniversary of the attacks.

Update: Allah updates with this:

According to the Blotter, it’ll be Waleed al-Shehri, brother of Wail and a muscle hijacker on Flight 11. I wrote a long post last September about the supply of hijacker videos Al Qaeda is sitting on; read it all as they’ll be releasing these things for years to come. In fact, AQ released a video a year after 9/11 called “Nineteen Martyrs” that includes still frames from the various testaments they have. Here’s a screencap; Waleed al-Shehri is in the upper right-hand corner, appropriately adorned with a lavalier microphone.

More info as it becomes available.

Update: The Blotter reports that this video was recorded in the same location as the video recently released. I know some may remember, but for those who don’t, Waleed al Shehri flew AA 11 into the World Trade Center North Tower at 8:46 am EST – the first plane to  be hijacked.
