GOE III Round-Up: Part 1

by Stephan Tawney on Sat, Sep 15, 2007

Today’s the big day. Unfortunately, I can’t attend, however many others are. Michelle Malkin is already there with Bryan Preston, taking pictures and blogging. She says that Eagles out numbered ANSWER defeatists by about 100 to 12. As the Eagles waved flags and held up signs, cars driving by honked with approval “long and loud”. She also had the honor of interviewing a wounded soldier at Walter Reed:

I also had the honor of talking to one of the wounded soldiers recuperating at Walter Reed. He was a young gunner whose vehicle was hit by an IED. He spent four hours pinned under the vehicle after the bomb caused it to overturn. He was disgusted by the MoveOn.org rhetoric and passionately opposed the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

She’ll have continuing coverage, pictures and video later on.

Meanwhile, CatHouse Chat is on the way there with still cameras, video cameras and a cellphone. Sounds like there will be plenty of picture-goodness there.

Right on The Right will also have extensive coverage, starting with Justin’s Mega-Thread over at FR.

NRO also has pictures from inside and outside the halls of Congress.

If you can, please get over to Gathering of Eagles.
