How Stupid Is MoveOn?

From the far Left group that brought you accusations that a four-star general betrayed his country, comes a continued attack on America’s Mayor. Does MoveOn not get this? This doesn’t make Rudy any weaker. He’s not trying to win a general, he’s trying to win a primary. When a group that is despised by the right continues to attack a candidate, Republicans only come to that candidate’s aid and side.

The liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org announced Tuesday it is expanding its Iowa television ad attacking GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani to national cable, a move that follows the former New York City mayor’s release of a radio ad blasting the group and calling himself its “worst nightmare.”

The MoveOn ad, which began airing in Iowa Monday, slams Giuliani for leaving the bipartisan Iraq Study Group after two months. The ad argues that he “has always been a big fan of George Bush’s war in Iraq. Yet when Giuliani had the chance to actually do something about the war, he went AWOL.”

As stated here before, the “AWOL” they’re talking about is Giuliani’s decision not to continue his participation in the Iraq Study Group because he was a Presidential candidate and he feels it was supposed to be non-partisan. The insanity on MoveOn’s part is hilarious. It refers to serving in the ISG as “doing something about the war”, as if MoveOn is advocating the ISG. I’d remind MO (again), that the ISG is A) barely remembered or mentioned any more, B) advocated a troop surge as we did, something MoveOn was against. So MoveOn says that Giuliani should’ve served his nation by serving on a committee that recommended something the group is very-much against.
