Allah points out that he’s saying it half-jokingly, but it may actually come to be. I honestly don’t think, at heart, that McCain is joking, though, just making it sound that way. Protests are being planned, from what I’ve heard and read, at both the UN and at Ground Zero. I’ve heard of no definitive location as of yet, but it’s seriously being planned.
Meanwhile, some on the Left think this is a great idea!…That Mahmoud be allowed to come, that is.
[H]ere this man comes, to make an ostensibly good-faith gesture and to pay respects to our dead.
One day this person will grow up. Even Senator Clinton has condemned it.
“It is unacceptable for Iranian President Ahmadinejad, who refuses to renounce and end his own country’s support of terrorism, to visit the site of the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil in our nation’s history.”
And, for once, I have to agree with the Senator.
