Dem Introduces Resolution to Condemn Rush Limbaugh

October 1st, 2007

For doing a segment on phony soldiers. Apparently he attacked the “integrity and professionalism of some of those Americans”. Of course, this is all about winning back some support from MoveOn after the resolution for its ad calling Petraus a traitor. Thing is with this resolution, introduced by Democratic Rep. Mark Udall (D-CO), is it’s just that - an attempt to get Republicans back. Rush talked about soldiers that were, indeed, fake soldiers. As in they never served in the Armed Services. ABC News did a similar special, “Operation Stolen Valor“, talking about phony soldiers, two days before Rush made his remarks.

It’s a cheap political shot with no grounds. Whereas MoveOn attacked a respected four-star general saying he was a traitor for not taking their stance on the war, Limbaugh attacked people who had claimed to be soldiers to give credence to their agenda, but never actually served.

As Michelle puts it:

Bottom-of-the-barrel desperation.

More.

As a retired Army Colonel and former military judge, I saw my share of “phony soldiers,” usually sitting across the bench from me at the defense table. I saw them for the pathetic wannabe heroes that they portrayed, but at least their day of judgment had come. Now, as I have grown older, I pity them more than despise them. That is until these fakes try to besmirch the valor and sacrifice of true soldiers; then all of the disgust that I had earlier felt comes rushing (no pun intended) back. Just as Dante had different levels of hell, there are different levels of disgust. Below the fakes are the America hating liberals and their organizations who try to disguise their loathing of the American soldier by fronting these frauds. And now, thanks to politicians like Udall, I have come to discover a lower level of disgust (didn’t think it possible).

BTW, this is my first posting. Thanks, Michelle, for opening up the registration to your legion of admiring fans.

Udall, House Democrats Looking For Pay Back…

After the Senate voted against the moveon.org slander, the Democrats have been waiting on their little perches to swoop down back at the Republicans. MediaMatters, the King of slander, tried aiming their guns at O’Reilly recently which evidently …

I am struck by the number of phony soldiers there are among our Senators and Representatives. The majority of these phonies seem to be from the left. It appears that they are attempting to emulate the phony patriot John F. Kerry (who served less than 60 days in Vietnam).
Most of the noise in the Congress seems to be coming from these phony patriots.
I realize that Edward Kennedy would have served had he not been denied a commission because he had been caught cheating on an exam.
This observation is from an retired soldier that served seven times as long in Vietnam as did John F. Kerry. This retired soldier is not a hero, but is willing to make his military and medical records available to the world the same day John F. Kerry does.

The Dems’ resolution would be funny if it was a joke. But they’re serious, and blatantly uninformed. No, they’re not uninformed, they are misinforming the public about Limbaugh in an attempt to minimize his impact. In other words, the entire Democrat party is afraid of one lovable little fuzzball. That’s what’s funny about it.

I remember Patsy Schroeder on the floor of the House several years ago, saying how Rush bought his mother a new can opener to open her canned food, dog food. It was Rush just being Rush by illustrating a point with absurdity. But Schroeder believed what someone told her Rush said instead of what he actually said, and repeated that line as a fact on the floor of the House of Representatives.

We all know that libs have no sense of humor, so they’re already at a genetic disadvantage. Now Harry Reid apparently believes what Media Matters tells him “what Rush said” which was not what Rush said.

Harry Reid (and the rest of their party and the mainstream media) only had to check out Rush’s website to see the webcam video of the conversation. But no, they’re much too busy. They will instead take the word of Media Matters. hahahahahaha

Reid and his cohorts in the slander Rush chorus show themselves to be fools and tools of the Soros wing of the Democrat Party.
