Texas Governor Rick Perry confirmed his endorsement of Rudy Giuliani for the presidency in a live interview with Fox News.

AUSTIN, Texas — In a live interview with FOX News, Texas Governor Rick Perry said he would endorse Republican Rudy Giuliani for President.

“The individual who could clean up America, who could clean up a city when it was on its back is Rudy Giulani,” said Perry on Wednesday morning. “We’re excited to be on his team.”

Last week we learned former GOP Governor Tommy Thompson had endorsed Rudy. Now Perry has. I guess it doesn’t hurt to have these gubernatorial endorsements under your belt.
