Senator Clinton, Yes or No?

by Stephan Tawney on October 31, 2007

If you haven’t seen it already, here’s Hillary completely skipping the question as to whether or not she supports giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens:

I’m sorry, I missed where she actually took a stand with a simple “Yes” or “No”. Oh, right, she didn’t. Why? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that Spitzer’s pissed off the general New York public by doing this. So, instead of saying “No, I don’t support it” or “Yes, I do support it”, Clinton resorts to attacking “George Bush” and saying “What’s the Governor supposed to do?”.

Well, Hillary, “George Bush”, whom I refer to as “the President”, isn’t running in ’08. You, on the other hand, are. We all know what Bush did, and I’d point out that the President supported the same so-called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” that you did. It was stopped in the Democratic-controlled Senate after even some Democrats voted against it. Bush intended to sign it into law.

Why won’t you commit one way or another? Take a stand. Let’s “Have a Conversation”, shall we?
