We can’t let the American people see something good coming out of Iraq, now can we? The latest good news is that Iran appears to be cutting back on its activities in Iraq. The number of Iranian-origin IEDs has been cut in half over the last few months. So, where is that placed? Page 18.
So, what coveted piece of news is so important that it belongs on the front page of The Washington Post, in place of good news from a war zone? The equivalent of “Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead”. “Schumer Stays Mum on Mukasey“. He’s still not talking, folks. That whole thing about a state-sponsor of terror cutting down their activities that have killed our troops in the war zone? Why, that’s just not front page-worthy.
