I posted a picture from Michael Yon just a little while back, where St. Johns church was opened in Baghdad. Local Muslim and Christian leaders had been preparing the church for its opening, the picture being of them working together to place a cross on the top of the building.
Yon has more pictures from the church, where mass has been celebrated.
For the record, most of the pews were filled with…Muslim Iraqis. Their sentiment was that they want their Christian friends to come home.
“Tell the Christians to come home to their country Iraq.”
The pictures are a must-see.
