I have to say, of all of the claims I’d figure she’d make after the Iowa caucus, this isn’t one of them.

“Of all the people running for president, I’ve been the most vetted, the most investigated, and — my goodness — the most innocent, it turns out,” she told a cheering crowd in an airport hangar.

Uh…ok. But is she really going to win the “most innocent” argument with Obama, a relative newcomer? If Bill wants to help her on this one, his best bet is to stay away. But then she loses the “star power” element of the duo, however strong that may be.

Anyway, Hillary’s been defeated in Iowa. But you can never, ever count the Clintons out. The Clinton form of sulking is stepping up the offensive. Hillary raised over $100 million last year, continues leading in national polls, and continues to have a pretty good shot in the next few states. Remember: Bill didn’t win until Georgia.
