Bob Krumm thinks the media should ask the Dem candidates about the Moonbats protesting the presence of the military in Berkeley. I’m not holding my breath, Bob.
Speaking of the Moonbats, they decided to chain themselves to the doors of a recruiting office, blocking the entrance for 7 1/2 hours. Take note of the sign the one idiot is holding, “World Can’t Wait”. Sound familiar? It should. The group is well-known for selling communist literature, such as “Quotations from Chairman Mao Tsetung”.
What help does Berkeley’s Mayor offer? He’ll help the Marines move out if they want.
“I spoke with the landlord, who is a very nice friend of mine, and the Marines have a year and a half to go,” Bates said. “I’m sure if they wanted we could work it out (so they can leave) without penalty. The situation there has disrupted the whole block.”
So instead of dealing with the Moonbats intentionally blocking the recruiting efforts of the U.S. Armed Forces, his solution is to throw out the men and women protecting our freedom and way of life. Brilliant.
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), by far one of the most conservative members of Congress, is pushing to cut-off federal funding to the city.
“The First Amendment gives the city of Berkeley the right to be idiotic, but from now on they should do it with their own money,” DeMint said in a statement.
Damn right, Senator.
“You guys are just cannon fodder!” the chained protesters shouted at three teenage boys who walked past the office and said they wanted to go inside. “They want to train you to kill babies!”
You’d think they could’ve come up with a fresh new Moonbat phrase after all of these years.
At one point, UC Berkeley student Kyrolos El Giheny walked up to the front door and tried to go inside to talk to Lund about a possible Marine career. He was unable to get past the chained protesters.
“They told me, ‘No business as usual today,’ ” El Giheny said. “It’s kind of nutty. It’s really an infringement on my rights.”
Yes, but Kyrolos, you have to understand: Your rights don’t matter. They’re the only ones with rights, whereas you can go to hell as far as they’re concerned.
Update: Be sure to call your Senator to support DeMint’s measure to fight back. And if you have time, call Sen. DeMint to let him know you support him (202-224-6121).
