• To my pleasant surprise, the morning shows entertained the idea that the McCain story was, in fact, a smear/hit piece. McCain campaign reps were able to respond to the accusation,  and MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough expressed “deep skepticism” over the story.

• The big, fat slob says: Let’s bring Fidel to the Oscars!
• China’s a bit less hostile over our missile launch today.
