Interesting and, frankly, quite unexpected from my perspective. According to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, the number of people who say they’ll definitely vote against Obama has increased by 7% over the last month. To make things more interesting, more people say they’ll definitely vote against Obama than say the same of McCain.

Thirty-four percent (34%) of all voters say they will definitely vote for John McCain if he is on the ballot this November. Thirty-three percent (33%) will definitely vote against him while 29% say their support hinges on who his opponent is.

Barack Obama has the same number who will definitely vote for him–34%. But, more people are committed to voting against him than McCain. Forty-three percent (43%) say they will definitely reject him at the ballot box.

Emphasis mine. As Ace notes (Warning: Profanity), 43% doesn’t win elections. Keep in mind that up until now he’s been fighting Clinton, who can’t possibly attack him the Democratic primary for being too far Left. In the general that can all change.
