Those would be the words of Rev. Jeremiah Wright — Barack Obama’s pastor. In a drawn-out smearing of America, in which he accuses it of murdering innocent people, Wright calls for the damnation of Uncle Sam.

As Ed Morrissey says, if the Clinton campaign had to repudiate Geraldine Ferraro for her remarks, shouldn’t Obama have to do the same about Wright? After all, the reverend has a ceremonial place in the campaign, with Obama’s most popular phrase “Audacity of Hope” coming from one of his sermons.
