Clinton Mentions Breaking the Law, Left Assumes Racism

by Stephan Tawney on April 11, 2008

You’ve got to be kidding me. Bill Clinton was mentioning Obama’s claim that he doesn’t accept money from oil companies. The former president, accurately, points out that no one does; It’s been illegal for quite some time. He then goes on to say that the next thing you know, Obama will be touting the fact he doesn’t steal cars, too.

I hear that, I think Bill’s making a valid point. He’s simply saying that, like receiving donations from oil companies, stealing cars is illegal. Saying you don’t engage in the illegal activity isn’t a plus or reason to vote for you, it simply means you’re not breaking the law.

What does the far-left assume? RACISM!!1!

Allah writes:

Clinton was discussing Obama’s misleading ad about oil companies, he reached for an analogy to illustrate its absurdity, and presto changeo — racism. Or at least, racism to the enlightened progressive who hears a reference to “stealing cars” and apparently automatically thinks of black people.
