75-year-old Murtha: 72-Year-Old McCain Too Old to Be President

by Stephan Tawney on April 16, 2008

Ignoring the fact that McCain’s mother is still alive and kicking, as well as the fact Reagan – one of the most beloved presidents – was 70 himself, Murtha concludes that McCain is simply too old to be president.

Democratic Rep. John Murtha says Republican Sen. John McCain is too old to be president.

Murtha told a union audience Wednesday that the presidency is “no old man’s job.” The Pennsylvania congressman is supporting Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Murtha is himself 75 and an ass. Howard Dean assures that he won’t make age an issue in the election, but he really doesn’t have to if Democratic minions take it upon themselves to do it.
