Obama Refuses to Debate: NC Forum Called Off

by Stephan Tawney on April 21, 2008

This comes just a few short days after Obama got slammed in the debate in Pennsylvania, following which the Messiah said he felt there was no need for further debates.

The Messiah, the great uniter of the people and new politician, can’t find time to attend a previously-scheduled debate in North Carolina.

State party releases a statement saying April 27 debate — supposed to be moderated by CBS’ Katie Couric — has been axed “due to time constraints and logistical issues associated with such a large, national event.”

Nevermind that it was previously scheduled and Obama doesn’t seem to have problems with other “large, national event(s)”. Clinton responds:

It is unfortunate that Senator Obama has chosen to brush off the people of North Carolina by flatly refusing to debate. But we are willing to move forward with another time and location for the debate so that he has no excuse for not participating.”

It should be quite obvious why he’s now hiding from the debate stage. When he’s actually exposed to real questions about his character and judgment, as he was on ABC the other night, he begins coming apart like a cheap (empty) suit.

Like Allah says:

The real/obvious explanation: He can’t afford another beating. Your quote of the day, from the same hypocrites who knocked ABC for not giving them a chance to hear the two sound off on “substantive” issues: “No more debates!”
