Johnson Quite VP Search Team

Jim Johnson, meet the undercarriage of Senator Obama’s bus. Don’t worry; You’re in good company, what with Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, and Obama’s own granny joining you.

Johnson, the former Fannie Mae CEO who had received several sweetheart deals from Countrywide, has resigned his post on the Obama VP search team.

One has to wonder why Johnson, who had no problem accepting special deals from a company Obama has attacked, was picked in the first place. Forgetting the fact his activities contradicted Obama’s public statements, this is the man who picked Kerry’s VP and managed the campaign of Walter Mondale.
