In the latest Democratic National Committee fundraising email to make the rounds, the party of flip-flops continues its blatant lie regarding the fundraising sources for Sen. McCain and the Republican Party. While appealing for donations as if the underdog in the fight, the email reads:
John McCain and the Republican National Committee have built a fundraising strategy based on accepting huge checks from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs — and they are very good at it.
Really? Because last I checked, less than 1.7% of McCain’s and less than 1.1% of the RNC’s income came from lobbyists and PACs. Perhaps the DNC’s definition of a campaign being based on a strategy is that strategy being responsible for less than 2% of the success.
Too bad the rest of the world sees it differently.
