One of the Washington Post’s criticisms of Barack Obama today was his setting an Iraq policy before his first trip to the country in over 2 years. The editorial board wrote:
Mr. Obama reiterated yesterday that he would consult with U.S. commanders and the Iraqi government and “make tactical adjustments as we implement this strategy.” However, as Mr. McCain quickly pointed out, he delivered his speech before traveling to Iraq — before his meetings with Gen. David H. Petraeus and the Iraqi leadership.
Well, it’s a darned good thing! With all of the MSM stars jumping up and down like kindergarteners that have to pee, hoping to go along for the trip, there will be little time for any actual fact-finding. Between the obligatory interviews and photo-ops, wherever will the Messiah find the time to actually analyze the reality on the ground?
