Can you say, “Damage Control“? After taking flack for blowing off wounded troops at Landstuhl, Barack Obama decided to give them a call. How terribly nice of him taking some time off of courting Europe to talk to the men and women wounded while defending this country.

In case you think Obama blowing them off wasn’t important to the troops, consider this quote:

According to one Army lieutenant colonel, “Everyone was excited about Obama’s visit. It’s a shame.”

Indeed it is, but what was Obama supposed to do? Go visit the wounded troops without the media, rather than attend a photo-op with a European politician? Priorities, people. Priorities.
