In which Fox News’ Major Garrett strikes back, saying that if Barack Obama spent more time with the troops, perhaps he’d have a better understanding of what they watch. See, the news stations are played on the bases in rotation. Per the military’s news page, here’s the lineup right now:
- Tavis Smiley (PBS) 12:30 AM
- Nightly Business Report (PBS) 1AM
- Nightline (ABC) 1:30 AM
- Countdown with Keith Olbermann (MSNBC) 2AM
- O’Reilly Factor (Fox News) 3AM
- Today (NBC) 4AM
- CNN Newsroom (CNN) 6AM
- MSNBC Live (MSNBC) 7AM
- Fox News Today (Fox) 8AM
- Your World Today (Fox) 9AM
- MSNBC Live (MSNBC) 10AM
- Fox News Live (Fox) 11AM
So you have 3 PBS shows, 1 ABC show, 3 MSNBC shows, 1 NBC show, a CNN show, and four Fox shows all before noon. To me that hardly indicates some sort of Fox News monopoly, but who am I to question the Messiah?
