Good Lord, MoveOn.org’s latest (supposedly “funny”) ad is atrocious. It features a bunch of 20-somethings talking about Obamamania as if it were an STD, with C-list celebrity Rider Strong (of Boy Meets World) holding up a baby chick at the end.
What’s sadder than the fact MoveOn intends to spend $150,000 to air this on MTV and Comedy Central? The fact that this is actually the winner of the group’s “funniest ad” contest. Yes, really.
By the way: I can understand why Obama needed to break his pledge of taking public financing. I mean, with all of these conservative groups coming out to support McCain, Obama’s all alone out there.
