Many are speculating that Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind) may end up as Barack Obama’s Veep nominee. Before anyone begins counting chickens, please keep in mind that we’ve been down this road before. Bayh was considered as a running mate in 2000 and it was speculated widely that he’d be Kerry’s pick in 2004.

ABC News recently pointed out that the website ObamaBayh08.com redirects to the official DNC page, but that’s not an indicator. WhoIs records show the site being registered by a single individual in Massachusetts.
