Back before she lost the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton expressed some thoughts on Barack Obama’s “new politics”. She pointed out the false, negative attacks that the Illinois senator spent millions of dollars creating and spreading. He would say one thing in speeches, then do the exact opposite when it came to putting his money where his mouth is.

Just a reminder that Obama isn’t the harbinger of “new politics”. He was spreading falsehoods about his opponents long before he ever faced-off against McCain. In fact, he and his campaign used dirty politics in order to get as far as he has.
