The "real issues" includes looking at the character of those that you're putting into office. Someone can promise to fix the country but that doesn't mean I'll put a terrorist into office to fix it (and no, that's just an example, not saying Obama is a terrorist). "Will a flag feed my family or provide health care to my family?" No, but the people who are treating the flag like this are the people you're putting in charge. "the ship is sinking and people are focused on the color of the drapes and not helping to save the ship or our middle class." The treatment of a flag that millions have fought and died for is not "the color of the drapes". Would you like to go tell a veteran whose missing legs that that flag is just "the color of the drapes"? “Everyone please wake up to the real issues!!”
