A stupid move, especially for a guy with ties to domestic terrorists, anti-American pastors, and a wife that hasn’t been proud of America in her adult life. Which is going to be more effective? A claim that even TNR admits is unfair, or the association of Obama with an unrepentant terrorist?
As for Obama’s attack ad, Politifact notes just how much of a pass Reed got. While never charged criminally, Reed was named 197 times in the report, was tied to Abramoff multiple times, and was “plagued by scandal as a result”. That’s quid pro quo?
Anywho, Team McCain is jumping at the opportunty:
“Barack Obama’s ad is ridiculous. Because of John McCain, corruption was exposed and people like Jack Abramoff went to jail.
“However, if Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, let’s start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obama’s political career was reportedly launched. Mr. Ayers was a leader of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group responsible for countless bombings against targets including the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon and numerous police stations, courthouses and banks. In recent years, Mr. Ayers has stated, ‘I don’t regret setting bombs … I feel we didn’t do enough.’
“The question now is, will Barack Obama immediately call on the University of Illinois to release all of the records they are currently withholding to shed further light on Senator Obama’s relationship with this unrepentant terrorist?” –McCain spokesman Brian Rogers

What with the lawsuit filed by Philip Berg regarding his dubious
American nationality, and for the suit filed with the Illinois State
Bar for deception, bit by bit things are coming to a head for Obama.
He is still very much linked to the Trinity Church in Chicago and
there is a scandal in his background in the Chicago political arena
now with Emil Jones resignation, Rezko in jail, and on and on,
Larry Sinclair and the Honorable David Manning on his trail, how far
can he run to get away from all of this. He is so sleazy it is not
funny and the peculiar thing about it is that the MSM loves it, they
are all pretty sleazy too, so we are in a pickle.
Lynden laRouche is the last one left in the Democratic party with his
Youth Pac that is still standing on principal and is still fighting
for the sovreignty of the Republic of the United States of America.
Lord God, open doors for the LaRouche Political Action Committee to
get the ear of the Democrats at the Convention. Help them Lord, they
have done all they could do and are still standing on the proverbial
rock, on the truth and the word of God.
Bles them in a mighty way LOrd God and open doors for them and let the
US get some relief and some help and some economic strenth once more
