Update: Jones suffered a brain aneurysm last evening and was taken to the hospital “for all intents and purposes dead”, according to WOIO in Cleveland. She was taken off of life support today.

Her office is unreachable for the moment. Sources tell The Hill that the morning hours had been spent notifying family members.

Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH), the first black woman to represent Ohio in the House of Representatives, has died of a brain aneurysm, sources say.
