A preview of his remarks prepared for this evening shows that Obama will attack McCain and insist Democrats are prepared to defend America.

“What does it say about your judgment when you think George Bush was right more than ninety percent of the time? I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to take a ten percent chance on change.”

How often does Obama agree with Jimmy Carter? I’m pretty sure it’s about the same amount of time McCain agrees with Bush. Strangely, that keeps getting left out.

“We are the party of Roosevelt.  We are the party of Kennedy. So don’t tell me that Democrats won’t defend this country.  Don’t tell me that Democrats won’t keep us safe.”

You know you’re in trouble when you have to go back over 4 decades to find a Democratic president that proves the party is prepared to defend America. Let’s look at Clinton, shall we? Oh, right, he let Osama live several times prior to 9/11 and responded poorly to the multiple attacks on American soil during his presidency. How about Jimmy Carter? Um, no… So, um, consider me less-than-convinced.
