I haven’t been covering this crap here because that’s what it is: Utter conspiracy crap. Basically here’s what’s been going on: Lefty bloggers have been claiming (or at least theorizing) that Trig Palin, the newest member of the Palin family, is actually the child of Sarah Palin’s older daughter and she was just covering for her child. Yes, I’m dead serious. Their proof? Well, Sarah didn’t look terribly pregnant in pictures they saw.
Today, however, they declare their conspiracy crap over (at least for now) because, lo and behold, there’s at least one picture of Sarah Palin pregnant. While some conspiracy theorists have accepted this as proof of her actual pregnancy, many others are now attempting to claim that it could be a fat suit she’s wearing. They’re f*cking nuts.
I watch a woman fake pregnancy on tv and it was also very convincing.

That’s an actual comment on Daily Kos. Meanwhile, Exciteable Andy (no link, per house rules) writes:
Here’s a photo that looks like it confirms Palin’s pregnancy, uploaded today, on what was the last day of the Alaska Legislature’s Session, on April 13, 2008, five days before Trig Palin was born. More here. This seems to put the kibbosh on this, although it would still be good to have official confirmation from the McCain campaign, which should be easy enough to do. Just a simple confirmation from the doctor who was present at the birth.
Team McCain should have to prove that Sarah Palin was actually pregnant and not her teenage daughter by dragging out a doctor and giving official confirmation. Okey dokey.
