Two Four Six Seven already dead according to reports, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that number grows as the night goes on. It looks absolutely devastating, with at least one train car tipped over and in very bad shape. There was a fire after the collision, but LAFD has it out. You can clearly see people trapped in the wreckage on KTLA, as firemen are scattered on the train like ants. Please pray for those trapped. Go to the main post for all updates.

Update: At least 40 injured in addition to the 4 to 6 already dead. KTLA says blood donations are being asked for at this time.

Update: Unbelievable. As we follow this news, another fatal Metrolink train collision is confirmed. A train in Corona apparently collided with a car, killing the driver and (reportedly) someone on the train.

Update: Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says that as many as 10 to 15 people are dead. Networks have only confirmed 7 so far, but it’s possible that the mayor is getting information that they aren’t.
