Amazingly dishonest. First of all, he attacks McCain for an ad that McCain never put out. The ad was created and paid for by a third party. Second of all, he quotes two Obama partisans (Klein and Dionne) as evidence of McCain supposed sleaziness. Third, he tries to make this a matter of abortion instead of infanticide. It’s not. Infanticide is the practice of leaving babies who have been born to die in some laundry room. As Ed Morrissey writes:
A subsequent investigation showed that as many as 20% of all late-term abortions resulted in live births — and that abortionists routinely allowed the infants to die by denying them normal medical attention.
Obama denied that such a problem existed and voted against a bill that would’ve required physicians to provide normal medical care to infants who have already been born. The bill he voted against did nothing to limit abortions, only require help for already-born babies. Obama knows the truth and is now trying to make this all about abortion and choice. Now who’s being sleazy and dishonest?
