It seems that thanks to the Obama campaign and his allies in the media, we are being overwhelmed with so called "lifelong Republicans" who support Obama and are voting Democrat "for the first time" (typical meme). 95 percent of the time these "lifelong republicans" are anything but. I assume the intent is to portray the McCain candidacy as sinking with Republicans fleeing the ship, when nothing of the sort is occuring. Good post.
