I’m sorry, but “ex-radical”? Did I miss Ayers’ apology for the bombings, because last I checked he was bragging about them and regretting he didn’t do more. He hasn’t changed his views (as far as we know) and “radical” means more than simply still bombing buildings. As Jonah writes:

I mean pretty much every liberal in America refers to Gingrich-style Republicans as “radicals.” If they’re radicals, what the hell is Ayers?

Still a radical, but what would our lovable Associated Press be if it didn’t whitewash Obama’s terrorist connections?
