While the media continues the coverage of a few fringe righties making bad puns, the left’s own fringe members go largely uncriticized. You know, like Obama supporters calling their candidate’s opponent a murderer.

After McCain’s rally here in the Tar Heel State, Barack Obama and McCain supporters engaged in some verbal taunting outside the Cape Fear Community College after one Obama supporter began repeatedly yelling “McCain is a murderer.”

“He fought for your right to say that,” one woman yelled.

But the media will keep focusing on signs at Republican rallies and falsifying transcripts to appear as if McCain supporters said things that they didn’t.

A Question for Biden: Since your own supporters are resorting to calling McCain a murderer, would that also mean that your rhetoric is encouring the fringe? Or is it just a one-way street?
