MSNBC, CNN Report More on ACORN Investigation

by Stephan Tawney on October 14, 2008

MSNBC is a bit more apologetic for Barack Obama, but covers it nevertheless. CNN is the network that really deserves kudos out of the two, though. Drew Griffin has done an excellent job of investigating the situation and exposing Obama’s ties to the organization.

As Bill Tucker, another CNN reporter, points out, Obama’s website has been altered to be a bit more accurate on the connection. The claim has been changed from The One never having worked for ACORN to The One never having been employed by them. Obama did, in fact, volunteer for the organization back in the 90′s. His campaign also employed a subsidiary of ACORN for nearly a $1 million back in the primary. It now joins Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and the rest under the bus.
