The Chicago Tribune notes what appears on the office door of Barack Obama’s buddy, domestic terrorist William Ayers. You’ll be shocked to learn that it’s pictures of far-leftist icons like Che and Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Ayers’ office door is decorated with pictures of Mumia Abu-Jamal, Che Guevara and Malcolm X. It is also home to pictures of children, bills of rights for students and parents, and a rainbow-hued greeting card advising “How to Be Really Alive.” A place of prominence is give to a New Yorker cartoon of a man interviewing for a job. The interviewer says, “I’m trying to find a way to balance your strengths against your felonies.”

McCain is supposedly going to take on Obama over his deep connection to Ayers this evening, but I’m bracing myself for disappointment. Knowing McCain, he’ll probably mention it in passing, Obama will refute it with some made-up bull and McCain will move on. I hope he comes armed with facts and specifics, i.e. the fact that Obama’s career was launched in the living room of Ayers’ home, and that he doesn’t let Obama get off with, “this is just a distraction and that’s just not true, John,” rhetoric.
