Not just in one or two places, mind you, but a nationwide investigation. The AP doesn’t have a ton of information right now, but more than enough.
A senior law enforcement official confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Thursday. A second senior law enforcement official says the FBI was looking at results of recent raids on ACORN offices in several states for any evidence of a coordinated national scam.
Regulations apparently forbid them to speak about ongoing investigations this close to an election, so they’re speaking on condition of anonymity.
Meanwhile, Ohio Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, who claimed that she would uphold the Sixth Circuit’s decision, is appealing to the SCOUTUS in order to allow new voters with mismatched information to vote anyway. The justice deciding on whether or not to give an emergency order to put the Sixth Circuit’s decision on hold or reject it completely? John Paul Stevens, a liberal, who overseas the circuit. They’re as determined as ever to undermine the democratic process. Expect a whole bunch of fun from that.
As Lorien1973 at Hot Air says, meanwhile the MSM is busy investigating Joe the Plumber. Priorities.
