Obama Seeks Prosecution of Those Looking to Prevent Voter Fraud

I for one welcome our new Dear Leader. How dare those evil Republicans allege voter fraud as, er, states across the country have been finding fraudulent registrations. It must just be the vast right wing conspiracy looking to suppress voters.

Barack Obama’s campaign attorney today asked Attorney General Michael Mukasey to add a probe into allegedly false Republican claims of voter fraud to the investigation into the firings of U.S. attorneys.

Republican voter-fraud accusations “seek both to suppress the vote and to unduly influence investigations and prosecutions,” wrote Robert Bauer, general counsel for the Democratic presidential nominee.

The guy who insists on a clean campaign wants to sue those pointing out the fact that fraudulent registrations have been found even by the people working at ACORN. Got it.
