Which is essentially what the skits were. They continued the lie about “Kill him” being shouted, turned Joe the Plumber into a demented McCain’s imaginary friend, showed Obama to be the straight an in-touch guy, and mocked the “Obama’s an Arab” McCain rally questioner. I don’t mind mocking candidates, but how about a knock or two on Obama?
Oh well. This is the same network that edited the one great skit it’s done in a long time (the House Democrats rescue package press conference) to remove the reference to Barney Frank overlooking the corruption.
