The race is over. With just 16 days before the general election, the Democratic nominee leads by 10 points in 13 crucial swing states. According to CBC News, even Republican strategists conceded that their counterpart’s nominee won all three debates and made headway after them.
Voters are apparently feeling that Republicans have tried to keep them off of voter rolls and over 80,000 people just attended a rally for the Dem nominee. Democrats have been heavily concentrating on Ohio and Florida, where they have been gaining ground as of late. It’s looking bad for the GOP.
Oh, wait a second. This CBC story is from October 17, 2004 and the Dem nominee is Not-President John Kerry. My bad.
Don’t mope, folks. It ain’t over ’till the fat lady sings, and I ain’t heard no fat lady sing. Call Team McCain or sign-up at their site and volunteer. There are some jobs you can even do from your home. If you can’t do that, donate to these crucial PACs: Let Freedom Ring and American Issues Project. They’re both running very hard-hitting ads, going after Obama on the mortgage crisis and even Jeremiah Wright in crucial swing states.
The name of Team Obama’s game is discouraging McCain supporters. If they can convince them not to volunteer, donate, or even vote, they have a great shot at a blowout. Don’t let them discourage you.
