Barack Obama will leave the trail for two days this week to visit his ailing grandmother, who turned suddenly ill in Hawaii. Madelyn Payne Dunham, 85-years-old, was released from the hospital last week, but her condition is described as “very serious”.

Best of wishes to Mrs. Dunham. May God bless her and may she recover from whatever illness that is ailing her. I wish illness of no political opponent, much less his or her family members.
