As you can clearly see, Bill the Union Boss (actually AFL-CIO boss Bill Londrigan of Kentucky) isn’t afraid to use violence and intimidation tactics to get what he wants. Surprisingly enough, Bill the Union Boss supports the Employee Free Choice Act, better known as Card Check. Card Check takes away the secret ballot for workers, instead giving them cards to let everyone know how they voted on union representation. Now tell Union Boss Bill, not afraid of intimidation tactics apparently, that you don’t want him to represent you.
The ad is run by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with the confrontation actually taking place over the summer. It’s running in a few targeted states.
