The common wisdom is that Dems won’t want to push their luck with such a controversial issue, but what do they have to lose? They’ll most likely have a filibuster-proof majority and a Democratic President in the White House. Obama will use his rhetorical skills to sell it and any negative reprecussions will be quickly blamed on the GOP, which is currently getting blamed for a crisis it was stopped from preventing.

Notice that Fairness Doctrine supporters always seem to concentrate on talk radio — the medium that Republicans tend to hold a majority in. The MSM — a lefty dominated group — is always mentioned as an afterthought. That’s not a mistake.
